Marie Laporte always had a passion for clothing. When she was a child, she already sketched princesses’ silhouettes in circles dresses. She starts her career in the modelling. Then, she passed to the other side of fashion. In the 1990s, she creates her first line of wedding dresses. Since then, her style has been refined but it’s already romantic and feminine. She creates her dresses as we would compose a painting for loving and free, spread and independent women. For her, the choice and the work of the materials are very important. A dress from Marie Laporte isn’t fixed, it lives and moves with the bride. Lace, back nudes, transparency, drape, nothing is left at random to shape dresses which can correspond to every bride.
